Thoughtful Cleaning Practices

You can rely on our dedication to the cleanliness of our studio and the health and safety of our community. We consider carefully a three step approach:

Natural

In order to protect our staff, guests and community from unnecessary chenical exposure, we first use natural cleaning products when at all possible. We will not ask you to wipe down your mega with chemicals.

Gentle

When natural products don't completely suit the task we are addressing, we will use as gentle of products as possible to handle the job. Most surfaces in this category would not be frequently touched by guests at our studio. (floors/mirrors/bathroom surfaces)

Thoughtful

If there is a known encounter within the studio to harmful bacteria or viruses that exist in our world-the studio will be thoroughly cleaned with whatever products known to remediate the exposure. This will be done in a careful, thoughtful manner that will not expose guests to any freshly applied chemicals.

Before You Claim Your Mega

Staff Health Checks, Hospitality & Safety

We are operating with the knowledge that communicable diseases exist in our community. Since the pandemic restrictions have been removed, we return to operating in the safest way we feel comfortable with. Wearing a mask is not required in our studio, nor is it looked down upon. Guests are allowed to participate in the way they feel most comfortable. Masks are available in the studio while supplies last, should you decide you would like one during your class. You are also welcome to bring your own.

Hands on form correction is an important part of the Lagree Method. If you feel uncomfortable with this, please let your instructor know-especially if you are new to their class. We will do our best to honor your boundaries, while still providing a safe learning environment for you.

We encourage you to bring your own refillable water bottles (no glass please). You are encouraged to have water at your Megaformer during class.  Bottled water is also available in the studio. A small towel is also a good idea because you will sweat!!

If you are feeling ill, please do not come to class. Go into your account online and cancel your class until you are feeling better. We encourage caring for our community by recognizing when we shouldn’t be in close contact in this way. If you  have any suspicions of COVID-19 symptoms or exposures to a known COVID + person, please cancel your class & contact the studio that day (we will waive your late fee if notified same day). You will be respectfully asked and expected to follow the current CDC guidelines for quarantine.

Checking In

Hands Free Check-In– Let your instructor or staff at the front desk know when you arrive and they will check in for you. Plan to arrive about 10 minutes prior to the beginning of class as usual. If you are new to Lagree and this is your first class, please arrive 15 minutes early if at all possible to get an introduction to the Megaformer.

Personal Items- There is a limited amount of storage available to stash your belongings. Please leave wet or muddy shoes in the boot tray inside the door to limit tracking inside the studio. Coat hooks are also available at the entrance. There are shoe cubbies to place the remainder of your belongings if necessary.

Claiming Your Megaformer

First Come/First Serve-At this time, all mega formers are up for grabs when you arrive (*see note on unavailable mega*). Claim your favorite after stashing your belongings and use the few minutes before class to stretch out and check the adjustments on your machine before getting started. Although this should be known by your instructor, please let them know if you are new and identify any prior injuries or limitations you may have.

Cleaning your mega- Guests will be asked to wipe down their own Megaformer after class. You will be given a cloth with non-chemical disinfectant to wipe down the machine (especially where you know you have touched) the best you can. Your instructor will complete the process and place all cables and springs back to the desired position, unless otherwise directed. Thank you for helping us keep our space and machines clean and ready for the next class.

Unavailable Megas- Occasionally some Megaformers may be kept empty (indicated with a pole or sign on the carriage). Please avoid these megas and feel free to select any available Megaformer.

Megaformer Setup- Please listen for instruction on starting set up for your class. Your mega may already be set to the appropriate spring load, but always check before starting a program to make sure you are on the right settings for best success.
